In this video clip from the 1962 Kentucky-Tennessee game, UK was inside the UT five yard line with just seconds to play. Failing to punch it in, Clarkie Mayfield came onto the field to attempt a game-winning field goal. If he made it, The Thin Thirty would be legends. If Clarkie missed, he'd be a goat.
Watch the UT end on the final kick, George Canale, who removed his cleats in an effort to jump on the back of his teammate in an attempt to block the kick.
